Art is in the eye of the beholder

The image above is a piece I found as I walked around the internet galleries curiously looking for online gallery formats I liked. This artist is especially powerful ( www.dereckhess.com ) on  http://www.cgunit.net/

Before continuing on I must warn you I came across a few racy images. So you have been warned.

ActionSportsArt : Sample Run 1

Who knew getting a collegiate license to sell a few canvas prints would ever be such a process? The images above are few of our ideas for Nascar and our college series canvas prints. The recipe is almost there, we haven’t reached our Gestalt-ness yet but we’re close. Who knows, we might be in a retail sector near you soon! Stay tuned for more.

One More Sign

I just found this sign in my small pile of images from Park City on Main Street. This is a foam injected sign, not very durable but it seems to handle the elements pretty well, especially if it’s been up since 2002.

Another Cool Sign

Cool Signage - Park City

I took this pic during a visit to a local brewery in Park City, Utah last weekend. Fun times, design is everywhere - this sign is made of very simple materials- wood and metal very nice.

Capturing Design's Essence on Film

A friend of mine sent this link to me from Fast Company’s website and it is worth the 12 minutes. It’s called, The Third and the Seventh, a totally animated short movie by Alex Roman (real name Jorge Seva), a 30-year-old architecture renderer in Madrid. Follow the link below:

Firescreen is IN

I’m not sure of the glossy black finish but hey no one gets their first pancake right! especially since I was supposed to get this thing by Thanksgiving. I’ll give it a few days to see if it grows on me – then I’ll probably have it sandblasted, throw some buttermilk on it and wait for the moss to grow. On second thought, that might not smell too good after a fire gets going.
